  1. I think that skype is a great idea for an office because it offers so many benefits. Especially in gloal companies where people are constanly traveling for meetings all over the world. You can have a meeting in the office from two different locations worldwide. This will save a lost of time and money. I think companies should look past their hesitations and give it a shot.

  2. I agree with Marissa! This is perfect for companies that communicate internatioanlly on a daily basis. The video and instant messaging features will also be great added features!

  3. Skype has become a great way to communicate with family and friends. Why not add this to an office? Personally face to face communication is better than over the phone. This will allow companys to have meetings not just in their office and link to others all over the world! Technology is always changing our world and companies should look at this as a great technology for their businesses.

  4. I agree that using Skype will be a great way for companies to stay connected internationally. I just hope that the Skype service that is centrally located and controlled by the individual firms are reliable. When I was abroad, I had many failed connections and dropped calls. Most countries do not have strong internet capabilities. They run at much slower rates, and they are not always properly connected. In order for it to work for corporations, they will need to adjust their service.

  5. I agree with Alexis. The same thing would happen to me abroad. I could see it being an issue for a company if their call was "dropped" every 15 minutes
