I think this article has a lot to do with perception. People have the perception that Apple's products are superior to those in the PC world, however, with that positive perception Apple has, there is a price tag. A large price tag differentiates Apple computers from PC's and especially in this economy people are becoming more and more thrifty with their money. Although some benefits of Apple computers may be better than PC's, I would definitely way those pros against the cons, which includes the price tag.
