Replacing a Pile of Textbooks With an iPad

This article from the New York Times was very interesting and is relevant to what we have talked about it class. It's interesting to see how technology is changing the way students are being taught in the classroom. http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/08/23/replacing-a-pile-of-textbook-with-an-ipad/

  1. It's not surprising that students are taking advantage of all that i-pads have to offer. It makes sense to invest in an i-pad, especially when textbook prices continue to surpass what the cost of an i-pad would be.

  2. Agreed. The price of text books are so expensive that a cheaper digital version would be extremely economical. The ipad also gives one the ability to search which will be time saving for busy college students.
